I'm back in AZ for the week and Sauce happens to be on the corner of my hotel so I had to have my favorite lemonade: Strawberry Basil. Tastes so refreshing! That is all I got because I had my eyes set on something different but I might revisit one of these days! I ordered around 4:30pm on a Monday night so there was no line. I was served right away. The large was under $6. Nice and friendly staff as well.

Thin crust pizza with spicy chicken and garlic knots. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place looked clean and the noise level was average. I recommend call ahead and order if you don't want to wait over 15 minutes, typical as most fresh made pizza pizzerias. The crust and the other items were cooked properly, nothing burnt. The taste did not stand out, I tasted mainly the cheese. For me a pizza is about the crust and sauce, which was lacking the kick a pizza sauce should have.

I went here for the first time. I got the prosciutto, fig, and goat cheese pizza without arugula on traditional hand-stretched crust. It was really good. I wasn't expecting the figs to be dried, but they still provided a nice sweetness. I would definitely get it again. I also got a pizza cookie with vanilla ice cream. That was great too. The edges of the cookie were crunchy while the inside was soft and gooey. It wasn't terribly busy on a Thursday night. The pizza and the cookie both took really long to get to the table. That's why I removed a star. They were really nice and hot though. I would come here again and recommend it to others.

Good location in downtown Tempe right by Mill ave. They have a good selection of pizzas / calzones, salads, pasta, etc. I got the broccoli chicken pasta which was pretty good. The cheese sauce they use is delicious. However it was sorta pricey ($14) considering the fact that there was only a few small pieces of chicken and broccoli compared to the amount of pasta. They do give free bread + butter. I'd come back here if I were in the area!

As an avid pasta lover I'm going to be a pretty harsh grader on this. The atmosphere of Sauce is really nice and I enjoy that it's one of the places where you order at the front and then can go sit. I will say that the quantity is pretty large for most items, I just still think the price is a little on the higher side for it not being an official sit down restaurant. Is it the most amazing Italian food I've ever had, not personally, but it's still an awesome place to go i with larger groups.
